DSP
This page is for signal processing, audio manipulation, and sound generation software I have created using the
Native Instruments Reaktor 5 modular software program. These ensembles have been in my personal use for years and are now being released to the public.

The Disintegration ensemble is a distortion effect in essence, however it is unique in the range and style of distorted textures you can coax out of it, from gentle overdrives to speaker annihilating noise. This ensemble is designed to be used with a host application such as Logic Pro, etc.
It may be used as a noise generation instrument, or as an in-line effect processor. As a noise generator you must insert it as you would any other Reaktor generator, into a MIDI channel and set the "input sel" setting to "Noise" which will activate the noise generator and give you a selection of different noise which will respond via QWERTY keyboard, or a MIDI keyboard input. Presets labeled "noise" have been provided as examples. As an effect plugin, Disintegration functions like a typical distortion unit, with its own unique flavor, simply by changing the "input sel" property to "Input".
This Disintegration release is nearly identical to the ensemble given to Josh Eustis and Charlie Cooper of Telefon Tel Aviv used on their latest record Immolate Yourself. Some presets provided by Dominic Dixon.
Dedicated in memory of Charlie Cooper.

Version 0.5 For Reaktor 5

Hyperspace is an instrument based off of Martin Brinkmann's original "Grain States" ensemble which made its first appearance in Reaktor 3. The original ensemble was stripped down to the core functionality and built back up. The dual sync delay instrument as well as Reaktor's famous space master reverb were added, as well as a 4-pole filter.
Reaktor's "Grain Cloud" module lays at the core of Hyperspace. The Grain Cloud is an audio buffer that intakes WAV/AIFF sounds and loops sections of the file based on the positioning of the X/Y controller which, when run through delay and reverb effects, can yield some very interesting results that range from noise to ambiance depending on the source audio. The output of this instrument is very similar, but different in control and feel, to the original ensemble and can produce some very unique results when adjusted properly.
